On Tuesday, November 4, three of the seven school board positions in the De Soto Unified School District will be up for election, and all three positions are contested. Lucy Rumsey Dewitt and Nancy Moneymaker are competing for the open Position 4 seat, previously held by Danielle Heikes. For Position 5, incumbent Calley Malloy faces challenger Christian Amend, while incumbent and vice president Brandi Jonasson faces challenger T.J. Finan for Position 6. While each candidate represents one of three different districts within the USD 232 boundaries, all voters will vote for all three candidates.
